Dr. Robin S. Howard MA, MB, B Chir (Cantab ), PhD (Lond), FRCP (UK)
Dr Howard is Consultant Neurologist to St. Thomas' Hospital and The National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, Honorary Consultant to The Royal Navy and St. Luke's Hospital for the Clergy and Senior Lecturer at The Institute of Neurology, University College and King's College, London. He qualified from Cambridge University and The Middlesex Hospital in 1980, undertook training in Oxford and London and was appointed to his present post in 1992. He is Head of Service for a large general neurological practice at St. Thomas' Hospital. His major specialty interests are neuromuscular diseases including myasthenia gravis, motor neuron disease, post-polio syndrome and sleep disorders. He has written extensively on these subjects.
